Fuck and live, Kill and Die

Vancouver, CA's Japandroids are using Bruce Nauman's "100 Live and Die" as their myspace page background.

I had the chance to see this piece of art in person last year at the Henry Art Gallery, and it's fucking stunning. While all the phrases are lit up in this picture, that's only a rare occurance; mostly the phrases flicker one at a time in a random pattern of pulsing light.

Japandroids stopped by the radio station a couple months ago to do an on-air interview and play some tracks from the All Lies EP, and they were really cool guys.
