Yeah, so this is a bit late. When you read number two, you'll understand why. Here are the top five (and one half) ways I hope to improve your DEBASER-reading experience this year.
1. Continue to follow the 2008 U.S. Presidential Election (and hopefully blog it) as closely as I have been for the past week. These primaries have been insane, and really help to underscore just how fickle and story-hungry our modern televised media really is: It's Obama's game! No wait, Hillary's staging a comeback! Why? Is it the women vote? The display of vulnerability? And, what's this, septuagenarian John McCain swoops in to dominate New Hampshire! Damn, this is good entertainment. Right up there with the slop and drivel VH1 forces down our throats, but we love them for anyway.
2. Blog less about French Electronic music. In particular: my repeat offenders of choice, Justice and Daft Punk.
3. Adhere to promises such as: September will be "Shoegaze Month". What the fuck ever happened to that? Or was it October? I don't even fucking remember.
4. Contribute as many posts as possible.
5. Avoid blogging pointless shit (i.e. garage sales, New Year's Resolutions...)
